Jessica Peña. Designer. Painter. CuMex (Cuban-Mexican). Funky sock collector. Star Wars nerd. Nerd. Weirdly obsessed with organizing and decorating spaces. World Traveler (it’s part my 30 year plan).
Born and raised in Miami, I went to the beach A LOT. No, not really, I usually locked myself in my room with a blank canvas. Fast forward a couple of years, and my commitment to avoid the heat lead me to develop a passion and love for art and design. I followed this passion to Georgia where I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Painting.
Coming full circle, I returned to Miami where I am a currently working as an in-house studio designer for the community. Working in a multicultural advertising agency, I create brand assets for a number of our clients and work on many internal agency branding projects. In addition to my day job, I do a number of freelance projects ranging from logo design to illustrations.
